Youth Carving Club!

Join the Tuckerton Seaport and volunteer carver, Mark Ford, on Saturday, December 9th, from 1 pm to 4 pm in our Folklife Center for a workshop on how to carve your own cardinal holiday ornament!
Just in time for the holiday season, youth carvers will learn how to carve, sand, and paint a cardinal ornament.
Cardinals are traditionally a sign of good luck and sunshine. Ring in the new year by creating your own piece of good luck!
Youth Carving Club is open to students ages 11 to 17. You will receive hands-on mentoring from our experienced carvers and learn carving history, knife safety, pattern making, and carving and painting skills! All supplies are included with registration.
