We all know about the kinds of animals we may see in the winter such as foxes, deer and various birds of prey. But what about animals that are right under our noses?
Microscopic critters like tardigrades, nematode worms, and more live within puddles, moss and bark. What happens to them in the winter?
We will be scientists for the day and explore this question by taking samples from our trail and investigate for any signs of life!
Children will be able to use magnified glasses, microscopes and other scientific gear.
