Encaustic Painting Demo
Michael brings a hands-on approach to teaching in this encaustic demonstration.
This demo will cover a brief history of encaustics, the equipment needed, setting up your workspace, mixing colors, adding media, and of course safety.
Additional techniques will include:
Building layers
Scratching the surface
Image transfer
Combining oil paint with wax
Mixed Media / Collage
