Mixing Primary Colors – Paint Red Fruits and Vegetables Without Red Paint (Oils/Acrylic) Wednesdays July 12 & 19; Instructor: Kim Cesaretti; $40 members/$50 non-members Did you know that you can mix primary colors? Well, contrary to popular belief, you can! In this fun exploration of the magic of pigments and applied color theory, students will learn how to mix the color red without using red paint and create small fruit and vegetable themed works on canvas.
Turn up the color volume in your paintings as you increase your understanding of the reflective qualities of pigments. Explore the possibilities of new and enriched color palettes for your paintings.
Materials: All materials included but you may bring your own.
