Community Drum Circle

A community drum circle is an engaging, inclusive, family-friendly event, where people of all ages join to share the spirit of connection and community by creating music together.  Community drum circles provide an exciting way for families to participate and play music together in a relaxed, fun, friendly environment.  The circle begins with a simple group pulse and slowly builds to a unique community rhythm where each member discovers their own rhythmic ideas and adds them to the groove.  Internationally renowned music educator, Mary Knysh, creates a safe and supportive environment where all ages can connect with each other in completely new and fun ways. In a community drum circle every player is heard, valued, and celebrated for their unique contribution to the music. Oh yes, and did I mention how much FUN it is to make music together? Join us! No experience is needed, all are welcome!  You may bring your own percussion instrument or use one of ours! This event is free to the public, donations to LBIF welcomed.
