Author Talk with Sabeeha Rehman and Walter Ruby

May 25 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

We Refuse to be Enemies The authors will highlight their message of solidarity against intolerance in their book “We Refuse to be Enemies.”

Subtitled “How Muslims and Jews Can Make Peace, One Friendship at a Time,” the book is a manifesto that two Americans, a Muslim woman and a Jewish man, created in response to the perceived rise of bias and bigotry in the US.

Rehman and Ruby have spent decades in interfaith collaborations, nurturing cooperation among communities. They will share their observations about ways that people of all backgrounds can create lasting friendships through knowledge and trust.
