OCAG49 Plein Air
The three sessions to take place on Guild grounds or IH Camp Grounds, under the big Gazebo or in Lizzi’s Garden (in Island Height). The instructor will guide the student in expressing their chosen motif in the drawing or painting media of their choice. Refer to the Plein Air Supplies List as a helpful checklist for what is needed. (link is on website)
Professional artist Lizzi Schippert, NJWCS, has been offering plein air classes for over 30 years with her husband professional artist, Sven Widen. Together they led travel plein air workshops in many places, including Maine, Monhegan Island, Florida, Vermont, Aix-en-Provence, France and twice in Japan. She recommends that the student uses the media they are most comfortable with.
