DESCRIPTION:Albert Music Hall will host the Township of Ocean’s 150th Anniversary Celebration Kick-Off Concert on Sunday\, April 12th at 2PM! \nDoors open 12:30pm\, Show 2:00pm \nThis special afternoon marks the beginning of a series of events celebrating this important milestone in our community’s history. \nThe event will feature a ceremonial program with local leaders and special guests\, followed by live music from talented area performers. \nStarting at 2PM\, there will be a ceremony featuring scheduled speakers and special guests include Mayor Ken Baulderstone\, NJ State Senator Carmen Amato\, and Adele Shaw of the Waretown Historical Society. \nAfter the ceremony\, enjoy an afternoon of music showcasing the traditional sounds that have been part of Waretown’s identity for generations. \nThe lineup includes: \nRedbird & Friends \nJames Dalton \nYankee Dime \nFish & Whistle. \nDoors open at 12:30 PM. Admission is FREE (donations appreciated). DESCRIPTION:Join us for a shamrockin’ good time at our annual Irish Show on Saturday\, March 7\, 2026\, at 6pm as we celebrate the music and spirit of the Emerald Isle. \nIt’s sure to be a foot-stompin’\, hand-clappin’ night\, with plenty of jigs\, reels\, and good cheer to go around. \nThe show starts at 6:00 p.m. with a lively opening performance by dancers from D’Arcy School of Irish Dance. \nAfter the dancers\, enjoy a grand lineup of bands bringing Irish songs and tunes to the stage all evening long. \nThis year’s lineup is: \nDancers from the D’Arcy School of Irish Dance \nThe O’talians \nTommy B & the Deep Blue Sea \nThe Coal-Fired Ramblers \nAndy Koontz \nSix Mile Cross \nAdmission is $6 ($1 for kids under 12)\, cash-only at the door. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Parking is free\, and the hall is wheelchair accessible. \nThe Food Booth will have delicious Corned Beef & Swiss on Rye sandwiches (while supplies last)\, Meatballs\, Kielbasa & ‘Kraut\, Cheeseburgers\, and Hot Dogs. \nA vegan chik’n pattie is available on request. DESCRIPTION:Help us welcome in the new year with our first show of 2026 – our traditional Winter Hootenanny on Sunday\, January 4th! \nThis show features an excellent lineup highlighting Folk\, Country\, Americana\, and Bluegrass music. \nThe afternoon includes a special tribute to Pete Seeger\, who performed at the Hall to help raise funds for our current building. \nThe tribute set will be performed by Pete Curry\, who wrote Come On Down to Waretown\, and gave the Hall its name. \nAlong with several familiar performers\, we’ll also be joined by Cape May artist Johnny Zarfati\, whom some may remember from our outdoor Heritage Festival. His band will make its Albert Hall stage debut at this show. \n\nDoors open at 1:00pm\, with music starting at 2:00pm. The lineup is as follows: \n– Pete Curry (Pete Seeger set) \n– Redbird and Greg McGarvey \n– Johnny Zarfati \n– Billy T Midnight \n– Fish & Whistle \n\nAdmission is $10 for adults and $1 for children under 12. DESCRIPTION:Albert Music Hall will host it’s annual Homeplace Show. This show features some of the more traditional Sounds of the Jersey Pines. \nYou might wonder where the name of the show comes from – weekly jams held at the Albert’s cabin\, called the “Homeplace” to those who played there\, led to the creation of the Albert Music Hall and Pinelands Cultural Society. You can read more about this by visiting https://www.alberthall.org/our-story. \n\nWe recently came across an old Albert Music Hall Sing Along book in the archive and decided to open the Homeplace Show with a traditional sing-along\, led by Granny and the Boys. We’ll hand out song sheets at the door\, so get ready to join in when the show starts at 6pm. Doors will open at 5pm and the sing along will be followed by five bands: \n\n– Sawmill Run Old Time String Band \n– Sadie Grove \n– Easy As Pie \n– Old Refuge \n– Granny & The Boys \n​ \nAdmission is $6 or $1 for kids under 12. The venue is cash only. Parking is free and the Hall is wheelchair accessible. \n​ \n​For dinner we will have several hot food options: Hot dogs & beans\, kielbasa & kraut\, cheeseburgers and hot dogs. DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, November 8th\, Albert Hall will honor the brave individuals who have served. \nVeterans\, family members\, friends\, and supporters are all invited to an evening of music and celebration. \nOrganizers invite veterans to wear something to represent their branch of service if they’d like. \nThe evening begins at 6:00pm with a special ceremony honoring veterans\, featuring the National Anthem\, Color Guard\, and Taps. \nEach veteran will receive a small token of appreciation from the Hall during the dedication. \n​​ \nThe music begins at 6:30pm with a mix of Old-Time\, Folk\, Bluegrass\, and Country music—including plenty of patriotic tunes to sing along to! \nFirst on stage will be Libby Prison Minstrels featuring a musical tribute to all branches of service. Following will be Basement Musicians\, Yankee Dime\, Magnolia Road\, and Fish & Whistle. \nThe doors will open at 5:00pm. Admission is $6 for adults\, $1 for children under 12. \nThe hall is cash only. Parking is free and the building is wheelchair accessible.
