Overdose Awareness Day

“Yesterday was International Overdose Awareness Day. Yesterday many Ocean County employees joined members of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office in wearing purple to show support, remember the loved ones we have lost and help reduce the stigma of opioid abuse and substance abuse disorder. All of us here at the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office remain committed to providing our residents every available resource in the battle against opioid abuse and substance abuse disorder. To that end, we continue to develop targeted programs through Operation Helping Hand while simultaneously engaging with our community partners.
