Ecology Oceanography Cruises !
🐳Are you interested in hands on experience exploring the Barnegat Bay and Ocean environments?! Then this 2 hour tour is for you aboard @missbarnegatlight in Barnegat Light for their Ecology and Oceanography cruises ! 🐳🛳 Cruises begin in June & run to the end of August.
Captain Lou will lead the group in the bay and then into the ocean. Captain Lou has a BS in Marine Biology and has been teaching high school biology, environmental science and marine biology for over 20 years. Learn about the local environment, the commercial fishing industry, crabs and fish, birds of our area, plankton etc. Dolphin sightings are frequent just out the inlet as are gulls galore, multiple osprey nests from the dock to the inlet and so much more. GREAT FUN FOR ALL AGES!
All ages are encouraged to enjoy this trip with us
$40 per adult and $35 per child..
PLEASE BE AT THE BOAT BY 2 PM. RESERVATIONS ARE NOT REQUIRED.
Trips run every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on June 28th and run through the end of August with 2:30 PM Departure and 4:30 PM Return.
