DESCRIPTION:Summer Kids Stand Up Paddleboarding Camps Toms River Recreation \nDates: Aug 17 – Aug 20\,  2026\, Raindate Aug 21 \nTime:  8:30am – 11:30am \nLocation: Shelter Cove Beach\, 1390 Bay Avenue \nAges: 8-16 years old \nJoin Coastline Adventures and Toms River Recreation for a four day-long camp for beginner and intermediate level stand-up paddleboarders.  Progressive skill and team building sessions cover equipment familiarization and proper fit\, location and condition assessment\, on and off water safety and self-rescue skills\, fundamental paddling techniques and navigation\, and local wildlife and environmental awareness.  Each day offers a new adventure\, paddling\, swimming\, and fun activities. \nRequirements:  Participants MUST know how to swim. \nEquipment:  Board\, leash\, and life vest are provided for use during class.  Participants may bring their own equipment\, rash guards or wetsuits.  Beach badges are NOT required to attend class or for guardians to watch class but are required if participants or guardians plan on staying after class ends.  Participants should bring their own sunscreen\, towel\, drinks\, snacks and footwear. \nCoastline Adventures Surfing School is accredited by the National Surf/SUP Schools and Instructors Association and brings over 30 years of professional experience providing safe\, high-quality surf\, bodyboard\, and stand-up paddleboard instruction throughout the Jersey Shore.
