DESCRIPTION:Family & Me Stand Up Paddleboarding Toms River Recreation \nDates: July 4\, 2026 \nTime:  9:00am – 10:30am \nLocation: Shelter Cove Beach\, 1390 Bay Avenue Child Ages: 8+years old \nEnjoy the outdoors and create lasting memories with your child in our 1.5-hour Family & Me Stand Up Paddleboarding Class. \nThis fun\, family-friendly experience blends adventure\, learning\, and connection as you paddle together on calm water. \nParents and children will learn important water safety skills and paddleboarding basics through supportive\, guided instruction. \nChildren build confidence through social interaction\, peer encouragement\, and shared success. \nDepending on age\, ability\, and comfort level\, children may paddle alongside you or ride together on your board. Perfect for families looking for active outdoor fun together \nParticipants MUST know how to swim. \nBoard\, leash\, and life vest are provided for use during class.  Participants may bring their own equipment\, rash guards or wetsuits. \nBeach badges are NOT required to attend class or for guardians to watch class but are required if participants or guardians plan on staying after class ends. \nParticipants should bring their own sunscreen\, towel\, drinks\, snacks and footwear. \nCoastline Adventures Surfing School is accredited by the National Surf/SUP Schools and Instructors Association and brings over 30 years of professional experience providing safe\, high-quality surf\, bodyboard\, and stand-up paddleboard instruction throughout the Jersey Shore. Led by Lance Tompkins and Jennifer Steffener\, both NSSIA Certified Master Level Surf Instructors\, the school combines nationally recognized training standards with deep local knowledge of Ocean County beaches\, bays\, tides\, and weather conditions.
