SUMMARY:Drawing Facial Features
DESCRIPTION:This class is designed to help those who are having difficulty drawing facial features. \nThe anatomy and rendering of the eyes\, nose\, mouth\, and ears will be covered through demonstrations\, after which students will draw these subjects from casts\, photographs\, and life. \nThe first session will focus on the eyes\, often considered the most compelling part of a portrait. \nThe second session will explore the mouth from various angles\, including the complexities of a smile. \nThe third class will cover the nose and ears\, along with the process of aging and its effect on facial features. \nWe will be working in black and white\, so pencil (H\, HB\, 2B\, and 4B)\, charcoal\, or pastel may be used. \nThe goal of this class is to develop a better understanding of the components of the face and to build confidence in drawing and painting portraits in the future. \nTuition:  $85(member)/$115(non-member) \nhttp://www.pineshoresartassociation.org \neducation@pineshoresartassociation.org \n609-597-3557
