This three-hour camp is the perfect introduction\, refresher\, or progression session for this exciting sport. Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to support your safety\, success\, and enjoyment in a welcoming group environment. Through discussions\, demonstrations\, beach and water training\, drills\, coaching\, and personalized attention\, you’ll learn the fundamentals needed to surf safely\, build confidence\, and catch some waves. All your equipment is provided. This class meets the State of New Jersey – Division of State Police Marine Law Enforcement requirements for boat safety education.  Temporary certifications will be given upon successful completion of the course.  All Boat Safe US Courses are approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard. \n\nRegister for the class at  www.boatsafeus.com/schedule-class \n609-613-2339 \n\nClasses are $110 and are completed in a one-day class (8 1/2  hour day including lunch break and test time) or in two evenings (two 3 1/2 hour classes with mandatory homework).  At the conclusion of the class\, every student\, age 13 and over\, will receive a valid New Jersey State Boaters Safety Certificate. DESCRIPTION:Summer Kids Stand UP Paddleboarding Camps Toms River Recreation \nDates: June 29 – July 2\,  2026\, Raindate July 3 \nTime:  8:30am – 11:30am \nLocation: Shelter Cove Beach\, 1390 Bay Avenue \nAges: 8-16 years old \nDescription:  Join Coastline Adventures and Toms River Recreation for a four day-long camp for beginner and intermediate level stand-up paddleboarders. \nProgressive skill and team building sessions cover equipment familiarization and proper fit\, location and condition assessment\, on and off water safety and self-rescue skills\, fundamental paddling techniques and navigation\, and local wildlife and environmental awareness.  Each day offers a new adventure\, paddling\, swimming\, and fun activities. \nRequirements:  Participants MUST know how to swim. \nEquipment:  Board\, leash\, and life vest are provided for use during class.  Participants may bring their own equipment\, rash guards or wetsuits.  Beach badges are NOT required to attend class or for guardians to watch class but are required if participants or guardians plan on staying after class ends.  Participants should bring their own sunscreen\, towel\, drinks\, snacks and footwear. \nCoastline Adventures Surfing School is accredited by the National Surf/SUP Schools and Instructors Association and brings over 30 years of professional experience providing safe\, high-quality surf\, bodyboard\, and stand-up paddleboard instruction throughout the Jersey Shore.
