DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, April 26th for a special show to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Pinelands Cultural Society! The first PCS meeting was held on April 20th\, 1975\, less than six months after the first “Sounds of the Jersey Pines” show in November 1974\, which we celebrated last year. The show will have special guests with connections to the early PCS and performances that reflect aspects of our musical history. \n\nDoors open at 5pm and we will start the show at 6pm. You will hear stories of the Pinelands Cultural Society as well as 5 musical performances. The lineup is as follows: \n\nStories of the Pinelands Cultural Society Pete Curry (original Homeplace musician) Jackson Pines Katie Sherwood (daughter of founder\, Janice Sherwood) Cranberry Jam The Last Whippoorwill​ \n\n​​Admission is $6\, or $1 for kids under 12. DESCRIPTION:4/26/2025 \n09:00am to 5:30pm \nToms River Elks \n600 Washington Street \nToms River\, NJ  08753   Ocean County \n\nWe at Boat Safe US look forward to being your Boat Safety Instructors and helping you earn your NJ Boating Safety Certificate.  Our instructors will provide you with a fun-filled and educational look at Boat Safety in New Jersey. \n\nIf you are operating a personal watercraft (Jet Ski\, Wave Runner\, etc.)\, or a power vessel on the waters of the State of New Jersey you are required to possess a New Jersey boat safety certificate. This class meets the State of New Jersey – Division of State Police Marine Law Enforcement requirements for boat safety education.  Temporary certifications will be given upon successful completion of the course.  All Boat Safe US Courses are approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard. \n\nRegister for the class for $100 (No Prepayments\, payment accepted at the class) Register at www.boatsafeus.com/schedule-class \n609-613-2339 \n\nClasses are completed in a one-day class (8 1/2  hour day including lunch break and test time) or in two evenings (two 3 1/2 hour classes with mandatory homework).  At the conclusion of the class\, every student\, age 13 and over\, will receive a valid New Jersey State Boaters Safety Certificate. This Certificate is valid for Power Boats and Jet Skis (age 16 and over) and is accepted throughout many states as a valid form of having completed a Boaters Safety Course. \n\nProctored Exams Available!!
