DESCRIPTION:Powered by her signature take on blues and rock\, singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Cristina Vane’s debut album\, Nowhere Sounds Lovely\, earned her praise from the likes of American Songwriter and Rolling Stone Country\, which deemed it ‘mesmerizing stuff’. \n\nA deft multi-instrumentalist and captivating vocalist\, she began writing songs and playing guitar in her teens\, before the power of slide guitar captured her attention one summer in London and changed the course of her sound. After graduating from Princeton University\, Vane moved to Los Angeles with a dream to pursue her constant passion\, music. There\, inspired by Rory Block\, Skip James\, and Blind Willie Johnson\, she began teaching herself slide in open tunings and found herself working at folk staple McCabe’s guitar shop where the universe conspired in her favor by putting under the tutelage of her fingerstyle guitar mentor\, Pete Steinberg. DESCRIPTION:4/12/2025 \n08:00am to 4:30pm \nOsbornville Baptist Church \n366 Drum Point Road \nBrick\, NJ  08723   Ocean County \n\nWe at Boat Safe US look forward to being your Boat Safety Instructors and helping you earn your NJ Boating Safety Certificate.  Our instructors will provide you with a fun-filled and educational look at Boat Safety in New Jersey. \n\nIf you are operating a personal watercraft (Jet Ski\, Wave Runner\, etc.)\, or a power vessel on the waters of the State of New Jersey you are required to possess a New Jersey boat safety certificate. This class meets the State of New Jersey – Division of State Police Marine Law Enforcement requirements for boat safety education.  Temporary certifications will be given upon successful completion of the course.  All Boat Safe US Courses are approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard. \n\nRegister for the class for $100 (No Prepayments\, payment accepted at the class) Register at www.boatsafeus.com/schedule-class \n609-613-2339 \n\nClasses are completed in a one-day class (8 1/2  hour day including lunch break and test time) or in two evenings (two 3 1/2 hour classes with mandatory homework).  At the conclusion of the class\, every student\, age 13 and over\, will receive a valid New Jersey State Boaters Safety Certificate.
