DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, November 8th\, Albert Hall will honor the brave individuals who have served. \nVeterans\, family members\, friends\, and supporters are all invited to an evening of music and celebration. \nOrganizers invite veterans to wear something to represent their branch of service if they’d like. \nThe evening begins at 6:00pm with a special ceremony honoring veterans\, featuring the National Anthem\, Color Guard\, and Taps. \nEach veteran will receive a small token of appreciation from the Hall during the dedication. \n​​ \nThe music begins at 6:30pm with a mix of Old-Time\, Folk\, Bluegrass\, and Country music—including plenty of patriotic tunes to sing along to! \nFirst on stage will be Libby Prison Minstrels featuring a musical tribute to all branches of service. Following will be Basement Musicians\, Yankee Dime\, Magnolia Road\, and Fish & Whistle. \nThe doors will open at 5:00pm. Admission is $6 for adults\, $1 for children under 12. \nThe hall is cash only. Parking is free and the building is wheelchair accessible. There will be a 50/50 raffle that will be drawn at the end of the show. \nEnjoy dinner at the Food Booth with cheeseburgers\, hot dogs\, and several other hot meal options\, plus vegan “chik’n” patties on request. \nSave room for dessert—there’ll be a delicious selection of cakes\, cookies\, and pies plus a variety of hot and cold beverages! \n​Stop by the Gift Shop to start your holiday shopping early! Set up your garden with free help from trained professionals. “Ask a Rutgers Master Gardener” at the Ocean County Library Stafford Branch\, beginning at 10 AM Monday\, March 10. \n\nRutgers Master Gardeners of Ocean County will be available from 10 AM until 12 noon every second and fourth Monday of each month through November 10\, excluding Memorial Day. \n\nDiagnostic clinics will take place March 10\, March 24\, April 14\, April 28\, May 12\, May 19\, June 9\, June 23\, July 14\, July 28\, August 11\, August 25\, September 8\, September 22\, October 13\, October 27 and November 10. \n\nThey’re ready to answer any and all questions to help you create a healthy\, robust garden. Bring photos or specimens of insects\, plants\, shrubs and trees for identification\, diagnosis and recommendations. \n\nRutgers Master Gardeners are trained\, certified volunteers who help Rutgers Cooperative Extension staffers in providing research-based information on sustainable horticultural practices to Ocean County residents. \n  \nThe clinics are free and open to the public. DESCRIPTION:11/12/2025 & 11/14/2025 \n6:00pm to 9:30pm \nToms River Elks \n600 Washington Street \nToms River\, NJ  08753   Ocean County \n\nGet your NJ Boating Safety Certificate and be ready for the summer!  NASBLA certified classes – use your NJ boat Safety Certificate in other states!  Our instructors will provide you with a fun-filled and educational look at Boat Safety in New Jersey. \n\nIf you are operating a personal watercraft (Jet Ski\, Wave Runner\, etc.)\, or a power vessel on the waters of the State of New Jersey you are required to possess a New Jersey boat safety certificate. This class meets the State of New Jersey – Division of State Police Marine Law Enforcement requirements for boat safety education.  Temporary certifications will be given upon successful completion of the course.  All Boat Safe US Courses are approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard. \n\nRegister for the class at  www.boatsafeus.com/schedule-class \n609-613-2339 \n\nClasses are $110 and are completed in a one-day class (8 1/2  hour day including lunch break and test time) or in two evenings (two 3 1/2 hour classes with mandatory homework).  At the conclusion of the class\, every student\, age 13 and over\, will receive a valid New Jersey State Boaters Safety Certificate. This Certificate is valid for Power Boats and Jet Skis (age 16 and over) and is accepted throughout many states as a valid form of having completed a Boaters Safety Course. \n\nProctored Exams Available!!
