SUMMARY:Song Circle
DESCRIPTION:Third Sunday of each month 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Tony Apostolaros 732-237-2041) \nThe Guild requests a $3 donation to the Guild at each session from each person who attends the session. \nJoin us as we take turns around the circle singing songs and maybe singing or playing along. \nWe sing folk songs\, pop songs\, and hymns\, and sometimes we have an improvised music jam. \nThe only rule is that it’s all acoustic\, with no amplifiers or microphones. \nEveryone is welcome to take a turn in the circle\, or just to listen. \nIf you come just to listen\, feel free to bring a quiet activity such as sketching or reading. \nFree Here is a song sampling Every time I come to the song circle it changes my mood. \nWhen you don’t feel like going is when you really should do it. \n– Mary Lutton \n22 Chestnut Ave\, Island Heights 08732 \nhttps://www.ocartistsguild.org/event/song-circle/2026-01-18/ \ninfo@ocartistsguild.org \n732-270-3111

SUMMARY:Transition to College for Students with Disabilities Program
DESCRIPTION:BRICK – Do you have a child or loved one with a disability who will soon be starting their college journey? \nIf so\, you will want to attend “Transition to College for Students with Disabilities” from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday\, November 16 at the Brick Branch of the Ocean County Library. \nAcademic accommodations for a high school student are often made by the individual in conjunction with their caregivers. \nHowever\, accommodations in college are made by the student alone\, and are different than those offered by high schools. \nJamie Arasz Prioli\, the Director of Access and Disability Services at Ocean County College\, will provide an overview of accommodations in a college setting. \nIn addition\, she will share information on eligibility determination and requesting accommodations during your student’s transition to OCC. \nPrioli has worked in the disability field for over 30 years and identifies as a neurodivergent adult with a lifelong hidden disability\, which gives her a unique understanding of inclusion and accessibility. \nThis presentation is geared toward high school students and their families as well as students with disabilities considering college after taking a gap year or two. \nPlease contact the Brick Branch to request reasonable accommodations no later than one week before the scheduled event. \nRegistration is required for this free program. \nTo register\, visit tinyurl.com/TransitionBrick\, call 732-477-4513\, or stop by the branch at 301 Chambers Bridge Road. \ntinyurl.com/TransitionBrick

SUMMARY:Private Eyes\, The Premier Tribute to Daryl Hall & John Oates
DESCRIPTION:The Premier Tribute to Daryl Hall & John Oates\, was formed in 2018. \nDelivering the timeless music from the best-selling duo of all time\, this Los Angeles-based band is the only Hall & Oates tribute to feature sonically accurate renditions of all the greatest hits as well as some choice fan favorites. \nAs a six to seven-piece band composed of LA’s finest players\, they pride themselves on delivering pristine vocal harmonies\, a rhythm section filled with show-stopping dynamics\, and the sexiest of sax work to weave its way through any venue. \nYou’ll feel like you’re experiencing a classic era Daryl Hall & John Oates performance as frontman Chris Hudson captures the subtle nuances and emotion of Daryl Hall’s smooth and soulful vocals. Co-frontman Nate Beausoleil authentically delivers the firepower of GE Smith’s guitar lines coupled with John Oates’ foundational harmony blend – a key ingredient in the legendary Hall & Oates vocal sound. \nAll the hits from Philly’s finest rock and soul duo are delivered throughout a 75 minute casino set up to a 2 hour performing arts center “Evening Of The Greatest Hits & More”\, guaranteed to strike a chord with audiences of any age. Their setlist covers contemporary classics from “You Make My Dreams (Come True)\,” “Maneater\,” “Rich Girl”\, and “Kiss On My List” to the timeless balladry of “She’s Gone\,” “Sara Smile” and “Every Time You Go Away”\, to mega-hits such as “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do)\,” and “Out Of Touch”. \nNo matter the size of the venue or age of the audience\, Private Eyes leaves attendees on their feet wanting more. \nThe group has performed all over the lower 48 states to Anguilla in the British West Indies. \nThe band is currently booking performing arts centers\, theaters\, resorts\, fairs\, festivals\, clubs\, casinos\, and private events worldwide. \nNovember 20\, 2026 Doors 7:00 Show 8:00 \nstrand.org
