DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, 3/14/2026 8:00am to 4:30pm Osbornville Baptist Church \n366 Drum Point Road \nBrick\, NJ  08723   Ocean County \n\nGet your NJ Boating Safety Certificate and be ready for the summer!  NASBLA certified classes – use your NJ boat Safety Certificate in other states! \nOur instructors will provide you with a fun-filled and educational look at Boat Safety in New Jersey. \nIf you are operating a personal watercraft (Jet Ski\, Wave Runner\, etc.)\, or a power vessel on the waters of the State of New Jersey you are required to possess a New Jersey boat safety certificate. This class meets the State of New Jersey – Division of State Police Marine Law Enforcement requirements for boat safety education.  Temporary certifications will be given upon successful completion of the course.  All Boat Safe US Courses are approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard. \nRegister for the class at  www.boatsafeus.com/schedule-class \n609-613-2339 \nClasses are $110 and are completed in a one-day class (8 1/2  hour day including lunch break and test time) or in two evenings (two 3 1/2 hour classes with mandatory homework).  At the conclusion of the class\, every student\, age 13 and over\, will receive a valid New Jersey State Boaters Safety Certificate. DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, March 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Giffordtown Schoolhouse Museum\, meet George Washington as he reflects upon his life. \nGeneral Washington will discuss his role in the French and Indian War\, the Revolutionary War\, his family\, his presidency\, his role in being a slave owner and more. \n  \nGeorge Washington is portrayed by Dr.  Jeffrey Schenker. DESCRIPTION:3/15/2026 \n8:00am to 4:30pm \nBeach Haven Fire Company \nCorner of S Bay Ave & Amber St \nBeach Haven\, NJ  08008   Ocean County \n\nGet your NJ Boating Safety Certificate and be ready for the summer!  NASBLA certified classes – use your NJ boat Safety Certificate in other states!  Our instructors will provide you with a fun-filled and educational look at Boat Safety in New Jersey. \n\nIf you are operating a personal watercraft (Jet Ski\, Wave Runner\, etc.)\, or a power vessel on the waters of the State of New Jersey you are required to possess a New Jersey boat safety certificate. This class meets the State of New Jersey – Division of State Police Marine Law Enforcement requirements for boat safety education.  Temporary certifications will be given upon successful completion of the course.  All Boat Safe US Courses are approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard. \n\nRegister for the class at  www.boatsafeus.com/schedule-class \n609-613-2339 \n\nClasses are $110 and are completed in a one-day class (8 1/2  hour day including lunch break and test time) or in two evenings (two 3 1/2 hour classes with mandatory homework).  At the conclusion of the class\, every student\, age 13 and over\, will receive a valid New Jersey State Boaters Safety Certificate. Back in 2020\, TJ was furloughed from work at the start of the coronavirus pandemic. He decided to spend that time traveling the nation\, visiting the gravesites of former presidents\, vice presidents\, signers of the Declaration of Independence and baseball Hall of Famers. To accomplish this feat\, he traveled more than 20\,000 miles through thirty-three states. His adventures are extremely entertaining and informative. \nThis event takes place at our museum at 26 Hadley Avenue in Toms River. There is no charge\, but donations are appreciated.
