DESCRIPTION:Learn Latinos’ Impact on New Jersey with Exhibit at the Lakewood Library \nLAKEWOOD – Historically\, Latinos have had a strong presence in the State of New Jersey spanning several generations. \nThe Lakewood Branch of the Ocean County Library is hosting the exhibit New Jersey Latinos: Then and Now until September 30\, available for to view during the branch’s regular operating hours. \nLatinos have made an impact on the state’s agriculture\, business\, social organizations\, education\, history\, organized labor\, demographics\, recreation\, religion\, entertainment\, government\, politics\, and more. \nNew Jersey Latinos: Then and Now highlights eight public figures from New Jersey who are prime examples of the profound cultural impact that Latinos have had on the state. \nRegistration is not required to view the exhibit.
