DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, November 8th\, Albert Hall will honor the brave individuals who have served. \nVeterans\, family members\, friends\, and supporters are all invited to an evening of music and celebration. \nOrganizers invite veterans to wear something to represent their branch of service if they’d like. \nThe evening begins at 6:00pm with a special ceremony honoring veterans\, featuring the National Anthem\, Color Guard\, and Taps. \nEach veteran will receive a small token of appreciation from the Hall during the dedication. \n​​ \nThe music begins at 6:30pm with a mix of Old-Time\, Folk\, Bluegrass\, and Country music—including plenty of patriotic tunes to sing along to! \nFirst on stage will be Libby Prison Minstrels featuring a musical tribute to all branches of service. Following will be Basement Musicians\, Yankee Dime\, Magnolia Road\, and Fish & Whistle. \nThe doors will open at 5:00pm. Admission is $6 for adults\, $1 for children under 12. \nThe hall is cash only. Parking is free and the building is wheelchair accessible. DESCRIPTION:Albert Music Hall will host it’s annual Homeplace Show. This show features some of the more traditional Sounds of the Jersey Pines. \nYou might wonder where the name of the show comes from – weekly jams held at the Albert’s cabin\, called the “Homeplace” to those who played there\, led to the creation of the Albert Music Hall and Pinelands Cultural Society. You can read more about this by visiting https://www.alberthall.org/our-story. \n\nWe recently came across an old Albert Music Hall Sing Along book in the archive and decided to open the Homeplace Show with a traditional sing-along\, led by Granny and the Boys. We’ll hand out song sheets at the door\, so get ready to join in when the show starts at 6pm. Doors will open at 5pm and the sing along will be followed by five bands: \n\n– Sawmill Run Old Time String Band \n– Sadie Grove \n– Easy As Pie \n– Old Refuge \n– Granny & The Boys \n​ \nAdmission is $6 or $1 for kids under 12. The venue is cash only.
