SUMMARY:Ellis Paul
DESCRIPTION:Ellis Paul doesn’t just write songs; he’s a guitar-carrying reporter who covers the human condition and details the hopes\, loves\, losses of those he observes\, turning their stories into luminous pieces of music that get under your skin and into your bloodstream. And much like the artists who have influenced him\, everyone from Joni Mitchell\, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon to the singer-songwriter who is undoubtedly his greatest inspiration\, Woody Guthrie\, Paul weaves deeply personal experiences with social issues and renders them as provocative works that are as timely as they are timeless. Born and raised in Maine\, Paul attended Boston College on a track scholarship and in the evenings became a fixture on the city’s open mic circuit. After winning a Boston Acoustic Underground songwriter competition\, he caught the ear of folk luminary Bill Morrissey\, who produced his indie album Say Something in 1993. This led to a seven album contract with Rounder Records and the 1994 album\, Stories. \n\nHis songs have appeared in several blockbuster films (Me\, Myself\, and Irene; Shallow Hal\, Hall Pass) and have been covered by award winning country artists (Sugarland\, Kristian Bush\, Jack Ingram). Through a steady succession of albums of his own – a remarkable 23 releases so far – and a constant touring presence around the world\, Paul’s audience has grown into a loyal legion of fans. Along the way\, he has picked up an impressive number of awards including the prestigious Kerrville New Folk Award\, 15 Boston Music Awards\, An Honorary Doctorate from the University of Maine\, the 2019 International Acoustic Music Awards Artist of the Year and most recently his album\, The Storyteller’s Suitcase\, was named the 2019 NERFA Album of the Year. \n\nhttps://www.lizzierosemusic.com/product-page/ellis-paul-sun-sept-28th \nlizzierosemusic@aol.com \n6092766758 \n

SUMMARY:A Medium Gallery Show with Linda Shields the NJ Medium
DESCRIPTION:At just eight years old\, Linda Shields discovered her gift\, which would later on turn into a lifelong career for herself. \nIt wasn’t until she was pushed into it that she discovered what it was that she’d be doing for the rest of her life. \nNow\, 54 years later\, the Jersey Shore Medium is touring around the country and continues to be surrounded by spirits in her day-to-day work. \nEleven years ago\, Shields launched her career into becoming the Jersey Shore Medium. \nIt all started in her early twenties when someone approached her with tarot cards. \nLittle did she know she would never see that person again; however\, she would end up needing those cards again someday. \n\nIt became public for Shields in the summer of 1990 when she received a phone call to do a reading. \nShields’ grandmother was also a psychic who taught her how to turn off and on her senses as well as understand them. \n\n“There has never been a time where I could not connect with someone\,” says Shields. “It’s the readings that when I can give closure or hope\, that’s what keeps me going.” \n\nShields is able to use the psychic senses of hearing (Clairaudience)\, tasting/smelling (Clairsentient)\, and physical feeling or being an Empath during a reading. \nShe was never afraid of her spirits due to the fact that she was always surrounded by them. \nThe Jersey Shore Medium admits that she favors Clairaudience because it’s like having a personal dialogue in her head. \n\n“I want to stay where I am. I like being the Jersey Shore Medium. I just want in the years to come to have the health to keep doing what I’m doing. \nAs long as I have the energy and the blessings to do it\, I’ll do it as long as I can\,” Shields states. \n\nShields offers private medium readings\, medium gallery parties\, private tarot card readings\, lectures\, and fundraising events. In addition\, the Jersey Shore native is also the published author of Angel Inspirations for Serenity and Love\, Crystal Power\, and 12\,000 Dreams Interpreted. \n
