SUMMARY:48th Annual Festival of the Sea
DESCRIPTION:Local restaurants and vendors provide the large crowds with delicacies such as crab cakes\, shrimp skewers\, soups and bisques\, lobster\, and other seafood items. \nDon’t like seafood? No problem\, there are plenty of other varieties of food to purchase! \nThe Festival also features HUNDREDS of craft vendors with “hard to find” and unique items. \nLooking for great entertainment? There is a stage set in the food\, wine and beer court area located in the municipal parking lot at the corner of route 35 South and Arnold Ave\, hosting local musicians and other entertaining acts. \nThe Festival of the Sea is annually held in the month of September\, and visitors have historically been treated to great weather. \nAlso\, the local businesses have a chance to offer many of their summer goods at sale prices. \nFor more information\, please call 732-899-2424 \nHeld downtown on both Arnold and Bay Avenues. \nSeptember 19th at 10:00am

DESCRIPTION:Since 1974\, Albert Music Hall has offered a lively stage for traditional music in Waretown\, New Jersey. \nEvery Saturday night\, the hall comes alive with the sound of live Bluegrass\, Country\, Folk\, Americana\, Old-Timey\, and Pinelands music. \nThe Saturday night show features five bands performing throughout the evening. Line up is as follows: Easy As Pie\, Bobby C\, Forever Young\, George Becker\, and Billy T Midnight. \n Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; music runs from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. \nAdmission is $6 for adults and $1 for children under 12. Cash only. \n The Pickin’ Shed and porch open at 5:30 p.m. for informal jam sessions. It’s a great opportunity to learn\, play\, and connect with other musicians. \nAll skill levels are welcome—bring an instrument and join the jam. \n The Snack Booth offers hot dogs\, cheeseburgers\, vegan patties\, and other hot food options\, along with desserts and beverages\, so guests can enjoy dinner at the Hall. \n The Gift Booth is stocked with souvenirs and Albert Music Hall merchandise\, including t-shirts and mugs. \nA 50/50 drawing is held each week.
