DESCRIPTION:  \nOn May 16\, Albert Music Hall will travel back in time to the birth of rock ‘n’ roll. \nRock Around the Pines brings the classic sounds of the 1950s and early ’60s to the Hall\, with a lively lineup celebrating the music that filled diners\, dance halls\, and jukeboxes across America. \nIt’s a night of familiar favorites\, toe-tappin’ rhythms\, and a little bit of that vintage rockabilly spirit right here in Waretown. \nVolunteers encourage you to get in the spirit by dressing the part! So slick back your hair\, slip on those blue suede shoes\, pop on your poodle skirt\, and get ready to hand jive your way through a fun night of Rockabilly\, Rock and Roll  and more. \nThe show starts at 6:30pm\, with doors opening at 5:30pm. The night features five bands\, each with a 30 minute set full of 50s and early 60s classics: \nRedbird & The Rubber Chickens​​ \nThe Bluefins \nGilbert Family Band \nSadie Grove \nBilly Penn & The Inside Drivers \n​Admission is $6\, kids under 12 are $1. DESCRIPTION:Since 1974\, Albert Music Hall has offered a lively stage for traditional music in Waretown\, New Jersey. \nEvery Saturday night\, the hall comes alive with the sound of live Bluegrass\, Country\, Folk\, Americana\, Old Timey\, and Pinelands music. \nThe Saturday Night show will feature 6 bands throughout the evening. Check https://alberthall.org for the latest information about the band lineup. \nThe Pickin’ Shed and porch are open for informal jam sessions starting at 5:30 pm. \nIt’s a great opportunity to learn\, play\, and connect with other musicians. Musicians of all skill levels are welcome — bring an instrument and join the jam! \nDoors open at 5:30pm / Music 6:00 – 9:00pm. \nAdmission $6 for adults/$1 for children under 12. Cash only. \nThe snack booth will be open offering hot dogs\, cheeseburgers\, Vegan “chik’n” patties and other hot food options as well as desserts\, beverages and more\, so folks can come have dinner with us. \nThe gift booth is fully stocked with souvenirs and gifts including Albert Music Hall t-shirts and mugs. \nThere will be a 50/50 drawing. Parking is free. On Saturday\, February 7th\, we will host a night devoted entirely to bluegrass music\, the first of three Bluegrass Shows scheduled at the hall this year. \nThe evening will feature six live performances\, each delivering a 30-minute set\, celebrating the rich tradition and timeless sound of bluegrass music. \nStarting at 6:30 p.m.\, the lineup will include: \nThe Festers \nPishy Cloots \nMark Miklos \nFish & Whistle \nThe Last Whippoorwill \nIn addition to the stage performances\, The Pickin’ Shed will also be open for jamming throughout the evening\, welcoming musicians of all skill levels\, or guests can simply enjoy listening. \nAdmission is $6 ($1 for kids under 12)\, cash-only at the door.
