DESCRIPTION:Since 1974\, Albert Music Hall has offered a lively stage for traditional music in Waretown\, New Jersey. Every Saturday night\, the hall comes alive with the sound of live Bluegrass\, Country\, Folk\, Americana\, Old Timey\, and Pinelands music. \nThe Saturday Night show will feature 5 bands throughout the evening. Check https://alberthall.org for the latest information about the band lineup. \nDoors open at 5:30pm / Music 6:30 – 9:00pm. \nAdmission $6 for adults/$1 for children under 12. Cash only. \nOur snack booth will be open offering hot dogs\, cheeseburgers and several other hot food options as well as desserts\, beverages and more\, so folks can come have dinner with us. Our gift booth is fully stocked with souvenirs and gifts including Albert Music Hall t-shirts and mugs. There will be a 50/50 drawing. Parking is free. The venue is wheelchair accessible. \nCome experience the rich musical heritage of the region and tap your feet to lively tunes in a welcoming community-oriented atmosphere. SUMMARY:California Guitar Trio
DESCRIPTION:The California Guitar trio returns to the Lizzie Rose Music Room. Their performance last March was\, in one word\, stunning. \nFor all the guitar players and enthusiasts out there\, this is a show you do not want to miss. The three guitarists met in England when they were studying with the founder and mastermind behind the British prog band King Crimson. \nThe band consists of two guitarists who play conventional guitars and another member who plays a polyphonic double “Chapman Stick”. This instrument was made popular by bassist Tony Levin who played in a later incarnation of King Crimson. In this context it is also used as a lead or complementing instrument to create an ethereal atmosphere. \nThese three musicians combine to create magical soundscapes that are superficially inspired by Fripp’s style of playing\, but this trio really has their own incredible sound with original compositions that range from classical to jazz and prog. They also do a great rendition of Pink Floyd’s iconic song “Echoes” This will once again be a truly mesmerizing evening of music provided by three very talented musicians so\, don’t miss seeing them this time around. \nSat.
