SUMMARY:The Nighthawks
DESCRIPTION:In April of 2022 VizzTone released the Nighthawks album “Established 1972” which represents 50 years of Washington DC’s road warriors going strong. \n\nOn this landmark anniversary\, founder\, lead singer and harpmaster Mark Wenner is still at the helm\, while drummer Mark Stutso\, guitarist Dan Hovey and bassist Paul Pisciotta all share vocals and songwriting\, making this lineup one of the strongest ever. Decades of gigs and countless rabid fans have earned them the name “The Best Bar Band In The World.” More than a bar band or blues band\, as they’re frequently labeled\, this is a band that played with Carl Perkins in addition to Muddy Waters. \n\nProduced by the Nighthawks and longtime compadre David Earl\, in 2020 they took advantage of the pandemic slowdown to hunker down in Earl’s Severn Sound Studios in Annapolis\, Maryland and crank out fourteen new tracks in classic Nighthawks style combining Memphis grooves with the perfect touch of funk. \n\nIn the tradition they set forth on Rock and Roll\, the band’s debut 1974 recording and mission statement\, the material is not bound by genre other than the widest range of American Roots Music. \n\nDoors Open- 7:00 pm \nShowtime- 7:30 pm \n$35.00 Advance\, $40.00 At Door \n\nhttps://www.lizzierosemusic.com/product-page/the-nighthawks-tues-april-1st-2025 \nlizzierosemusic@aol.com \n609-276-6758

SUMMARY:Stanley Plays the Dead
DESCRIPTION:Guitarist Stanley Jordan has formed a new band called Stanley Plays The Dead. \nJordan has always loved the Grateful Dead’s music and Jerry Garcia’s playing in particular\, and this 4-piece unit was founded to share that love with the fans. \n“Stanley Jordan playing the Grateful Dead-wait\, what?” Actually\, while this may seem surprising to some\, anyone who really knows Stanley well won’t be fazed in the least. \nStanley has always held a diverse array of influences including classical\, rock\, World music and Americana. The Grateful Dead fits in there perfectly. \nStanley says\, “The Dead’s repertoire is an important part of the Great American Songbook. Over time people are realizing this more and more.” \nOne thing that’s helping folks to appreciate it is the growing number of bands doing Grateful Dead tributes\, and in many cases taking the music in new directions. Stanley Plays The Dead is definitely part of that trend. Jordan explains\, “One mark of a good song is that it can be reinterpreted in many ways and it still holds up. These songs definitely fit that description.” \n\nOf course Jordan always puts a unique spin on things\, and this project is no exception. So what’s the spin? Stanley describes it as “Cosmic vible variations on the music of the Grateful Dead.” He explains\, “We’re expanding the harmonic structure and adding more jazz elements\, while preserving the original feel and flavor of the music. And most importantly\, we’re keeping the trippy vibe-maybe even deepening it.” \n\nAFTERNOON SHOW \nDoors Open- 3:30 pm \nShowtime- 4:00 pm \n\nEVENING SHOW \nDoors Open- 7:00 pm \nShowtime- 7:30 pm \n$50.00 Advance\, $60.00 At Door \n\nhttps://www.lizzierosemusic.com/apr \nlizzierosemusic@aol.com \n609-276-6758

SUMMARY:Cristina Vane
DESCRIPTION:Powered by her signature take on blues and rock\, singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Cristina Vane’s debut album\, Nowhere Sounds Lovely\, earned her praise from the likes of American Songwriter and Rolling Stone Country\, which deemed it ‘mesmerizing stuff’. \n\nA deft multi-instrumentalist and captivating vocalist\, she began writing songs and playing guitar in her teens\, before the power of slide guitar captured her attention one summer in London and changed the course of her sound. After graduating from Princeton University\, Vane moved to Los Angeles with a dream to pursue her constant passion\, music. There\, inspired by Rory Block\, Skip James\, and Blind Willie Johnson\, she began teaching herself slide in open tunings and found herself working at folk staple McCabe’s guitar shop where the universe conspired in her favor by putting under the tutelage of her fingerstyle guitar mentor\, Pete Steinberg. It was also at McCabe’s that Vane began her journey on the clawhammer banjo\, and continued to busk on the Venice Boardwalk\, putting in countless hours of practice to become closer to the powerhouse performer she is today. \n\nDoors Open- 7:00 pm \nShowtime- 7:30 pm \n$30.00 Advance\, $40.00 At Door \n\nhttps://www.lizzierosemusic.com/product-page/cristina-vane-wed-apr-9th \nlizzierosemusic@aol.com \n609-276-6758

SUMMARY:Chris Trapper
DESCRIPTION:For someone who’s been on the road for more than 150 dates a year for the past 15 years\, Chris Trapper appears to have taken his unsolicited break from touring pretty well. In between weekly livestreams on Facebook & Instagram\, Trapper also performed in his fan’s backyards across the country all summer long during his “Socially Distanced Backyardapalooza”. To top it all off\, Chris entered a studio near his home in Boston\, MA to record his new album “Cold Water Waltz”. \n\n“Recording an album in normal times is an interesting experience\, so imagine creating new music during a global pandemic. Although I worked intensely with the producers (Brad Young and Jason Meeker) in their respective studios\, I could rest assured because as most musicians know; audio engineers were socially distanced before it was trending.” \n\nThe album is a mostly stripped-down affair\, with the focus squarely on Trapper’s achingly honest lyrics\, honeyed tenor and delicate fingerpicking. The record features Boston legends Duke Levine (Aimee Man\, Peter Wolf) & Jim Prescott (G Love & Special Sauce) as well as Matt Beck (Matchbox Twenty\, Rod Stewart) & even a co-write with Rob Thomas. \n\nDoors Open- 7:00 pm \nShowtime- 7:30 pm \n$30.00 Advance\, $35.00 At Door \n\nhttps://www.lizzierosemusic.com/product-page/chris-trapper-fri-april-25th \nlizzierosemusic@aol.com \n609-276-6758

SUMMARY:Brown Sugar Rolling Stones Tribute
DESCRIPTION:Brown Sugar/Rolling Stones Tribute is a high energy and powerfully entertaining Philly based Rolling Stones Tribute Band formed in 1994 by singer Keith Souder and drummer Michael Mosley\, two of the original members. \nThe band has largely been local until 2013 when they brought in Paul Donovin on guitar\, and subsequently connected with the Shidoobees who are an organization of worldwide Stones Super fans. Soon after the band brought in vocalist/entertainer extraordinaire Pauline Houston Mcall\, (2015) then later that same year added bassist Kelvin Weston and lead guitarist John Marchiano. \nAfter joining forces the band took off and gathered more notoriety in the tri-state area. The most recent addition to the lineup in 2020 is Keyboardist Ed Artz\, a veteran of the Philly music scene who brings great leadership\, keys\, and strong vocals. This has become the definitive lineup that will power Brown Sugar to new heights! \nDoors Open- 7:00 pm \nShowtime- 7:30 pm \n$30.00 Advance\, $35.00 At Door \n\nhttps://www.lizzierosemusic.com/product-page/brown-sugar-sat-april-26th \nlizzierosemusic@aol.com \n609-276-6758

SUMMARY:KASHMIR Featuring Jean Violet
DESCRIPTION:Kashmir – The Spirit Of Led Zeppelin Live! \n\nIntroducing KASHMIR featuring Jean Violet – The Spirit of Led Zeppelin Live! \nKashmir was created by vocalist Jean Violet back in 2000. It has grown from the streets of New York City to now being one of the top Led Zeppelin Tribute bands touring nationally and internationally. Experience the mythos and magic of Led Zeppelin – the hits *and* deep cuts that you’ve loved all of your life\, with the visual dynamism you’d expect from a Zep show. See Jean as the personification of a young Robert Plant\, with his long\, golden mane and powerful\, seductive vocal delivery. Witness Kevin Slover in his iconic black dragon suit\, strutting the stage like a young\, cocky Jimmy Page delivering his blistering\, raucous riffs with both power and finesse. …and multi instrumentalist Lenny Lee – as someone who’s long been inspired by the playing and creativity of John Paul Jones – is a natural in the role of “Jonesy”\, having performed these songs live for many years. Finally\, David Blampied\, “keeper of the groove”\, is equally adept at the subtle\, nuanced passages as well as the thunderous grooves Bonham is known for\, creating a dynamic driving force for this powerful rhythm section. \n\nAs fate would have it\, the members of KASHMIR featuring Jean Violet do bear a resemblance to their counterparts in Led Zep\, so beyond the power and intensity of their sound\, there’s a visual realism that truly completes the experience. Do yourself a favor and get out to see KASHMIR featuring Jean Violet\, and behold them as they embody the Spirit of Led Zeppelin Live\, and transport you to a time when Giants Walked the Earth! \n\nwww.strand.org
