DESCRIPTION:This workshop will combine the digital emulsion transfer process with collage techniques to provide a greater variety of printable surfaces. \nDay 1 will review the basic technique of emulsion transfer\, turning digital photographs into images with a lithographic quality using everyday items\, like Purell hand sanitizer and silkscreen paper. Thereafter\, we will experiment with combining papers and images to collage for the next day’s process. \nOn day 2\, we will use the dried collages and experiment with image transfer directly onto those surfaces.
