DESCRIPTION:This class is designed for students who have completed a beginner portrait class\, as well as artists who are ready to deepen their understanding of portrait painting. \nLearn how to transform a flat\, two-dimensional photograph into a convincing three-dimensional portrait through careful attention to composition\, accurate proportions\, and value structure. \nStudents will explore flesh tone mixing using a limited palette\, helping to create harmony\, depth\, and realism in their work. \nPlease bring a clear\, high-quality photograph of a face you would like to paint. DESCRIPTION:Teen Class with Carol Colvin \n3:30-5:30\, $200 or $160 with teen membership. \nFrom saucers to superheroes and anything in between\, the subject matter is your selection !!! \nUtilize your own photo reference material\, or borrow from the instructor. \nThis class is for teens who enjoy making art but need guidance with drawing skills\, use of materials\, color choices and composition. \nThe principles of design\, composition\, value are learned using the traditional art materials of various pencils\, watercolor\, acrylic and pastel… or a combination of medium. \nStudents should bring their own materials and their creativity\, with a willingness to experiment with new ideas and/or new materials.
