Woven Holiday Tree

Get into the holiday spirit at the Tuckerton Seaport with artisan Niki Giberson in our festive woven holiday tree workshop!
This workshop occurs on Saturday, December 2nd, from 10 am to 12 pm in the Folklife Center.
Experience the joy and creativity of the season by joining us for a unique and hands-on crafting adventure that will leave you with a beautiful, homemade Christmas decoration.
During this interactive workshop, you’ll learn the art of weaving as you create your very own charming Christmas tree.
Niki has been weaving baskets for decades, sharing with her students the traditional folk arts of basketry and needle felting.
This tree, made from various natural materials on an 8″ wooden base, will be a delightful addition to your holiday decor.
Participants ages 16+ are welcome to attend. All materials are included. The cost is $48 for members and $53 for nonmembers.
