Skatepark Anniversary Jam

FREE choreographed “HELL ON WHEELS” BMX and skateboard JAM on Saturday, August 24, 2024, 5pm to 8pm at Castle Park Skatepark, 1511 N. Bay Ave., Toms River, NJ presented by Mayor Daniel T. Rodrick and the Toms River Township Recreation Department Come celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the Townships’ Skatepark, featuring Jeff Jones (HELL ON WHEELS owner) pro-skateboarder & resident of Toms River. This JAM is part of Toms River Township Recreation Departments’ expansion of events and recreational opportunities for residents of all ages.
The BMX/Skate JAM will feature live music, food trucks, meet and greet with Jeff Jones, his stunt riders, and TR Recreation staff. HELL ON WHEELS and Toms River Recreation Departments’ main message is “SAFETY” and getting kids that want to ride off to a good start. TR Recreation will also have information about exciting new programs for children and adults.
“HELL ON WHEELS” is a traveling stunt show that delivers Action Sports Entertainment. They have performed at events such as NASCAR, NFL, NBA, NHRA & SUPERCROSS SERIES. They have appeared on television networks such as HBO, ESPN, FOXSPORTS, DISCOVERY CHANNEL & MTV.
The riders execute aerial and ground stunts, including superman’s, 360s, backflips, and more. The X-Game style ramp enhances the excitement and combines entertainment, important SAFETY lessons and community fun for the entire family.
*Parking will be available at the Youth Services Building, Schencks Mill Line parking lot, and Bey Lea Park. All walking traffic is to cross at the Oak Avenue/North Bay intersection. NO Parking at Bey Lea Golf Course. *
