PSAA: Let it Flow: Acrylic Pouring

Program Description
Learn how to mix your pigments to get the right pouring constituency and learn new techniques to achieve dynamic effects with this exciting acrylic medium.
Lots of fun for all artistic levels!

Please bring $10 cash payable to instructor for the supplies that are included in this 1 day workshop.
Required Supplies
Some supplies will be provided by PSAA, but please bring the following to supplement this new class format:
Canvases and Pouring Medium will be supplied.
Supplies are included WITH THE EXCEPTION OF PAINTS.
You must bring your own acrylic paints!
Wear old clothes or a cover up as this can be messy so bring old towels, or rags, paper towels for clean ups.
Spray water bottle
(3-4) 2-ounce color pigments the more colors the more chance to create desirable results Tertiary pigments (pigments next to each other on the color wheel) are best. Metallic pigments also work well. It’s good to have 1 dark color with a few light colors for contrast.
8 oz Black pigment
8 oz White pigment
Walmart is the best place to purchase the pigments. The Apple Barrel brand starts at .50 for 2oz and they carry a plethora of colors.
An idea for choosing a color scheme is to find a picture or painting you like and isolate the colors.
