Peter and the Wolf
March 8 @ 11:00 am

Peter and the Wolf is a lively folktale with music by Sergei Prokofiev that introduces children to the unique sounds of the instruments in the orchestra.
Each character in the folktale is played by a specific instrument with its own unique melody.
The story is told through the musical sounds with the help of a lively mime actor and narrator.
The concert performance lasts approximately 50 minutes, which includes time for children to ask the musicians questions.
Parents will be given a program that provides a QR code to the online movie version of the concert so that their children will be able to enjoy the music again at home.
For 25 years, professional members of the American Classical Orchestra have been bringing classical music concerts to children in schools, libraries, and major theaters.
Classical Music for Kids provides children who may not be able to go to a concert at Lincoln Center in New York City the opportunity to hear authentic classical music in their home community
