OCAG6-A New Beginning – A Symbolic Still Life (B/I)

This is an 8-week adult class
$160 members / $200 non-members
Instructor: Kimberly Cesaretti
Students will learn how to select and compose objects for still life for the purpose of creating a symbolic still life. Every new year is an opportunity to reflect on our lives and create a new vision for our future. This class provides a unique opportunity to go beyond the standard vision board and create a beautiful work of art!
Students will learn composition, color theory/color mixing, under painting, glazing, and mark-making/brush techniques needed to create a painting in a realistic style.
Materials
Bring 3 to 5 objects that symbolize/communicate your vision for your future and a small desk lamp (or follow instructor setup/example). Bring your own canvas, paint, and tools or can be provided by the instructor for additional $20 fee
All classes have remote option.
