Meet Your Local Firefighters at the Waretown Library

Honor Fire Prevention Week by meeting your local firefighters at the Waretown Branch of the Ocean County Library at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 10.

Families can explore a real fire truck, meet volunteer firefighters, learn about what they do, and discover important fire prevention and safety tips.

This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ocean County Library – Waretown Branch.

The Friends of the Library are a vital community resource that provides local support for Ocean County Library’s branches.

Funds are used to expand programming at branches and support ongoing projects.

Our members advocate within their communities for the library by attending community and civic events and supporting the public library mission for Freedom to Read and Access to Information.
