Feeling stress, overwhelmed or just not right? Explore this first time course on Meditation and Creative expression through The TTAP Method®.

This  is a multi-modal (emotional, social, and cognitive impact) approach utilizes therapeutic use of music and guided imagery to first go within and proven to reduce stress, loneliness and anxiety. After a 20-30 minute relaxation session participants are guided to choose to any art materials to express how they are feeling or what they “saw” in their minds eye. Paper, colored pencils, oil pastels will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring any other personal art materials to class.

Research on the TTAP Method® has been published in multiple peer reviewed journals demonstrating significant positive correlations to increase in cognition, social stimulation, and enhance overall wellbeing. Go to www.levinemadoriphd.com to learn more!

6:30-7:00 pm   Overview of the TTAP Method, Overview of previous weeks work

7:00-7:30 pm    Mindful guided Imagery and Meditation

7:30- 8:30 pm   90 minute Art Experiential for the group, including discussion, questions, review

“Participants will be able to……”

  1. Understand the concept of ‘use it or loose it’, identify 3 expressive art activities clinically proven to stimulate brain functioning while enhancing cognitive, emotional, physical and social needs.
  2. Identify what are 3 right brain regions are stimulated through meditation and art activities.
  3. Identify what 3 left brain regions are stimulated through art activities.
  4. Learn why meditation and mindfulness increases personal wellbeing, reduces stress and increases overall health.
