Tips and Tricks for Framing your Artwork Join us in a two-hour class about the ins and outs of how to best present your art.
Diane Israel, a board member, who for twenty-eight years had an art gallery in Montclair, will guide you to better framing your art.
In this class you will learn
What glazing to use that will not harm your artwork.
- What mat boards to use for art preservation ● Mat or not to mat, that is the question ● Picking out mat colors for maximum enhancement ● Finding the perfect frame ● Proper hardware for hanging ● Choosing DYI or professional framing ● Maintaining the personality of the artwork
The class will include handouts but is not an interactive event.
The class will be followed by a question and answer period.
Circle the date of Saturday, April 4th from 12:30 to 2PM for your class in framing.
A fee of $20 will be charged for the class with partial proceeds going to OCAG.
