Create a collection of 4 Collage Bird-themed Holiday Greeting Cards in this one-day workshop using your discarded watercolor paintings and scraps.
This workshop will give the student the basics for collage making using torn paper technique and upcycling of those oops watercolor paintings.
You can create 4 or more unique or similar cards. The theme will be birds:
Cardinals, Doves, Partridge (in a Pear Tree), shore birds in grasses.
Using your watercolor paper scraps and up-cycled watercolor paintings to create whimsical collages that will be adhered to provided greeting cards.
Your family and loved ones will be thrilled to receive one of a kind cards that are frameable pieces of art!
Samples will be available to follow.
Add a calligraphic message on the inside of leave blank!
Size is 5×7 Finished product is suitable for gift giving and framing.
Cards and Envelopes will be provided. Calligraphy markers will be available for interior greetings.
Supplies Needed:
A few sheets and scraps of watercolor paper, used and unused 8×10 or smaller (studio or pro quality), Old watercolor paintings to cut and tear up, Watercolor paint or Gauche, Markers,
Colored pencil, Glitter or metallic paint, Brushes for painting and gluing, Aleene’s Tacky Glue or similar, Masking Tape, Scissors, Xacto Knife, Surface to tape down work and Reference Photos.
