Get the inside story on General George Gordon Meade—the Union’s “goggle-eyed snapping turtle” and the victor of Gettysburg.
Did you know the man who saved the Union also designed our very own Barnegat Lighthouse?
Andy will regale us with Meade’s legendary exploits, from the battlefield to the drafting table!
Join us in person at the museum at 1:00 PM (doors open at 12:30),
where we’ll welcome you with delicious, warm coffee provided by Whittingham Coffee House and tasty morsels from Baked on the Beach for a relaxed and social afternoon of learning.
Pre-registration preferred walk ins always welcome.
