Hidden Dangers and How to Keep Individuals with Autism Safe in the Home, School, and Community

This workshop could save your child’s/student’s life. It addresses all levels of functioning across the life span. Specifically, the program will cover: Wandering and Available GPS and Other Tracking Devices Improving interactions with Police and First Responders Fire Safety Issues Behavioral and Social Intervention Resources School and Transportation Issues Resources will be provided for these and other safety issues. The program will offer concrete suggestions and strategies that can be applied immediately to increase safety and decrease risk at home, in the classroom, and in the community.
