Group Stand Up Paddleboarding with Coastal Adventures & Toms River Recreation

Date: Sundays, June 29, July 13 & 27, August 17 & 31, September 7. Each are different sessions and require separate registration & payment.

Location: Shelter Cove Beach
Ages: 16+ years old
Description: Join Coastline Adventures and Toms River Recreation for one day clinic for beginner and intermediate level stand-up paddleboarders. Progressive skill and team building sessions cover equipment familiarization and proper fit, location and condition assessment, on and off water safety and self-rescue skills, fundamental paddling techniques and navigation, and local wildlife and environmental awareness. Each day offers a new adventure, paddling, swimming, and fun activities.
Requirements: Participants MUST know how to swim.
Equipment: Board, leash, and life vest are provided for use during class. Participants may bring their own equipment, rash guards or wetsuits. Beach badges are NOT required to attend class but are required if participants or guardians plan on staying after class ends. Participants should bring their own sunscreen, towel, drinks, snacks and footwear.
