Ebenezer Tucker celebrates our nation’s 250th Anniversary

Ebenezer Tucker, for whom Tuckerton was named, was a very accomplished citizen.

He will be speaking about his life and contributions to the United States, New Jersey and Tuckerton including serving under General George Washington in the Revolutionary War.

The Tuckerton “Crik” Museum and gift shop will be open and refreshments will be available.

There will also be antique and craft vendors on the grounds of the museum as the event is being held in conjunction with the Tuckerton Town-Wide Yard Sale.

This program is being held during the Historical Society’s participation in the Tuckerton Town-Wide Yard Sale and although Ebenezer is speaking at 2pm he will be mingling with visitors from 12pm-4pm.
