Clear the Shelters

The Ocean County Animal Facilities are proud to participate in the Clear the Shelters National Pet Adoption Event once again, taking place from August 1 through September 7, 2025.
Special Adoption Weekend: September 6–7, 2025
To make the event even more impactful, all adoption fees will be reduced by 50% during the weekend of September 6-7.
Every cat and dog at the shelters has received the following:
* Spayed or neutered
* Microchipped
* Vaccinated (age-appropriate)
* Fully vetted by our veterinarian
Additionally, each adopted pet will go home with a complimentary goody bag filled with nutritious treats and fun toys, available throughout the entire event, from August 1 through September 7.
Responsible Adoption Encouraged
The Ocean County Health Department urges potential adopters to make thoughtful and informed decisions.
