Albert Music Hall: Winter Hootenanny

Help us welcome in the new year with our first show of 2026 – our traditional Winter Hootenanny on Sunday, January 4th!
This show features an excellent lineup highlighting Folk, Country, Americana, and Bluegrass music.
The afternoon includes a special tribute to Pete Seeger, who performed at the Hall to help raise funds for our current building.
The tribute set will be performed by Pete Curry, who wrote Come On Down to Waretown, and gave the Hall its name.
Along with several familiar performers, we’ll also be joined by Cape May artist Johnny Zarfati, whom some may remember from our outdoor Heritage Festival. His band will make its Albert Hall stage debut at this show.
Doors open at 1:00pm, with music starting at 2:00pm. The lineup is as follows:
– Pete Curry (Pete Seeger set)
– Redbird and Greg McGarvey
– Johnny Zarfati
– Billy T Midnight
– Fish & Whistle
Admission is $10 for adults and $1 for children under 12. The venue is CASH ONLY.
Our pickin’ shed is open for pickin’ as soon as the doors open, musicians of all levels bring an instrument and join the jam.
The pickin’ shed is currently getting a makeover, so it’s a great time to stop by and see the progress.
Join us for lunch and/or an early dinner! The menu includes pulled pork sandwiches, meatballs, kielbasa & kraut, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs.
Vegan “Chik’n” patties are available on request. Amish desserts, including those much-loved donuts, will be available for $3 each. A hot sandwich, beverage, and dessert can be enjoyed for $10 or under.
Our Gift Shop is stocked with Albert Hall, music, and Pinelands-themed gifts, along with an expanding selection of local music and history books. You’ll also find unique items from local crafters and vendors. A 50/50 drawing will be held.
Come help celebrate the start of our new season with this special Sunday treat!
