United Through Song – 250th Celebration

The Island Singers invite you to join us for a concert honoring the powerful unifying force of music and the role it played in the early days of our nation.
“United Through Song” is a glorious mosaic of American Folk Songs, American Folk Hymns, African-American Spirituals, Songs of the Civil Rights Movement, and modern Gospel Music about Unity. “ This stirring performance captures the enduring hope and spirit of the beautifully diverse people who are the United States of America.
In honor of Flag Day, and the 250th anniversary of our Nation, this special concert will feature a chamber orchestra, an inspiring arrangement of “America the Beautiful” and an invitation for you to join your voice to ours for “Let There Be Peace on Earth.”
