Birding Boat Tour: Red Knots in Holgate

Join VP of the Southern Ocean Birding Group, Josh Gant, for a narrated boat tour from Tuckerton to Holgate.
Participants will be on the lookout for Red Knots during their fall migration, as these remarkable birds feed to refuel for their journey to Canada.

Birds can be viewed from the boat, along with a variety of waterfowl and shorebirds.

While sightings cannot be guaranteed, it is likely we will see a diverse range of species during this time of year.

Fun Fact:
This tour will also pass by the location of the original Tucker’s Island, just south of Holgate!
