2024 Annual Memorial Day Parade of Plumsted Township

Dear Friends and Neighbors:
The 2024 Parade will take place Monday, May 27 at 1:00pm. The positioning of parade floats
and participants will begin at 12 Noon at the intersection of Evergreen Rd. and Bright Rd.
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST ENTER BRIGHT RD. FROM EVERGREEN RD.
This eliminates two-way traffic on Bright Rd. and increases overall safety.
Once parade participants have entered onto Bright Rd., their line-up position number will be
provided. This number will correspond to one of the sequentially numbered signs posted
curbside along Bright Rd.
Due to the volume of participants, large walking/marching groups are encouraged to carpool to
reduce excess vehicular traffic on Bright Rd. This is for the safety of everyone.
A Memorial Day Service will be held at American Legion Post 455 upon the conclusion of the
parade at approximately 2:30pm. Light refreshments will be served following the service.
Please complete the attached form as soon as possible and return it by reply email, fax
(609) 758-0123, mail, or drop it in the Business Administration office before April 30, 2024.
