Flight Deck Manager (Flight Deck is our Community Center on Lakehurst) – $19.68-$35.22/hour

Plans and administers day-to-day operation of the Community Center and the Firehouse Airman’s Program. Identifies individuals with special interests and develops/conducts programs for special interest groups to include but not limited to families, single parents. singles, retirees, and private organizations on an on-going basis and during deployments, exercises, and other special base activities. Conducts needs and interest assessments to determine programming and activities. Supervises staff of Community Center. Types of duties include but are not limited to the following: Plans and coordinates the details of recurring and non-recurring group activities such as classes, clubs, special events, outreach, competitive games, and events, self-directed leisure. and joint community undertakings so as to make maximum use or resources. Recommends new programming activities. to include type of format and resources the activity would require. Gathers information from a number of different sources. including past progran1s and current popular programs from other communities. Coordinates activities with on-base and off-base resources, which are consistent with military and morale mission…

Child Development Center direct care staff (up to 11 vacancies) – $18.21 – $21.90/hour

The incumbent will serve as a Child and Youth Program Assistant (CYPA) in one or more child and youth programs and will be accountable for the whereabouts and safety of children and youth. Provides care/supervision, oversight and accountability for program participants. Assists in preparing age appropriate activities; supervises children and youth during indoor and outdoor activities, on field trips, outings and special events; arranges and serves snacks/meals. Executes work in accordance with policies and regulations. May be required to transport children in government vehicles.
