Día de los Muertos/Day of the Dead celebrates the brief reunion of [Mexican] families with their deceased relatives.

A blend of Aztec (Mesoamerican) ritual, Spanish culture and Catholicism, it is celebrated October 31 through November 2.

Hear a story recounting a family’s preparation, watch a slide presentation of the Oaxaca, Mexico festival, and taste pan de muerto (bread of the dead) and hot chocolate.
