Clear the Shelters Adoption Event

Special Adoption Weekend: August 29 – 30, 2026
To make the event even more impactful, adoption fees for all dogs and cats will be reduced by 50% on the special adoption weekend.

Every pet available for adoption has been:
Spayed or neutered
Microchipped
Vaccinated (age-appropriate)
Examined and cared for by the shelter’s veterinarian

In addition, every adopted pet will go home with a complimentary goody bag filled with treats, toys, and other goodies throughout the duration of the event.

The Ocean County Health Department reminds prospective adopters that bringing home a pet is a long-term commitment and encourages families to carefully consider their lifestyle before adopting.
