CIVIL WAR ENCAMPMENT

The Brick Township Historical Society will host the 61st NY Volunteer Regiment at its Havens Homestead Museum property.

The soldiers will march, fire guns and explain what life was like during an encampment.

Society members will grill and sell burgers and frankfurters and soft drinks.

There will be a homemade bake sale and the Lizzie Herbert Gift Shop will feature specials.

Tours of the museum will be available.

Parking is in a lot 150 ft. east of the museum, access by a blue sign that says “Havens Farm.”
